The ATF has determined that the rink fire was absolutely arson, but they have no leads. They think it was probably a random act that will go unsolved.

It was heartbreaking to see the "Grand Dame" of California ice skating and a Sacramento landmark staggered. But what has happened since then has been amazing with the generosity of our community. Volunteers have continued to do what needs doing — in over 800 volunteer days so far. To highlight just one part of the volunteer effort, 1000 cubic yards of debris was moved with wheelbarrows and shovels. 400 pairs of skates have been cleaned and newly laced. Your tremendous volunteer commitmen is deeply appreciated.
