MAY 7, 2026 – BIG DAY OF GIVING
Big Day of Giving (BDOG) is a 24-hour day of fundraising for Sacramento region nonprofits. It is a program of the Sacramento Region Community Foundation. Big Day of Giving has helped Iceland generate critical funds supporting our programs and operations.

Iceland is operated by Sacramento Iceland, a 501c3 nonprofit. Our mission is to promote, advance, and sponsor ice sports, primarily figure and hockey skating on a recreational basis, by providing lessons and ice rink facilities. Sacramento Iceland operates in one of the most socioeconomically disadvantaged communities in Sacramento. We focus on programs for youth, including children with disabilities and disadvantaged children, by offering a safe, family-friendly environment, free of adverse influences common in a community such as ours.
